PUDDLE OF MUDD: Early Recordings To See Light Of Day?
May 4, 2004PUDDLE OF MUDD singer and guitarist Wes Scantlin has told Launch Radio Networks that he has nearly two albums' worth of material from the band's early days that he would like to release at some point. "I have twenty other songs right now, that were written about seven to eight years ago, that nobody even has ever even heard," he said. "These are, like, songs that were written back in the beginning of PUDDLE OF MUDD. Nobody's ever heard 'em, but I'm actually planning on trying to release another record called 'Puddle Of Mudd Back In The Day', so all I've gotta do is just basically call some of the guys that used to be in the band, and just make sure everybody's happy and taken care of."
Scantlin also has plans to record an acoustic album sometime later this year, which may also feature previously unheard material.
